Our aim is to contribute to a peaceful and secure
life for our society within a secular, democratic and modern Turkey.
The National Intelligence Organization, in order to fulfill its duties in accordance
with the demands of the age, is implementing a personnel policy aiming to select
well-educated young people who are capable enough to acquire the qualifications
and requisites of being an intelligence officer.
In order to reach our objective, we recruit young people who are talented, smart,
self-confident, dynamic, cultured, determined, careful, disciplined, respectful,
reticent, receptive and modern, and have exalted sense of responsibility. At
the same time we make certain that all the technological developments of our age are
closely observed and utilized to carry out the services.
Under today's progressing and changing conditions, our fundamental human resources
policy is to recruit young people with high potentials to adopt the vision, aims and
values of our Organization and carry it to the future.
The newly recruited young members learn "intelligence" through a
contemporary in-service training within a working environment based on amity
and respect. The young members, in the mission they undertake, have the chance
to be on top of the pyramid in the future.
In general terms, the staff of the MIT is comprised of personnel working in
the main service units, auxiliary service and support units.
This section has been prepared to shed light on career selection for young
people who are going to be assigned in the main service units and who deem themselves
suitable to be an "intelligence officer".
