The cadres of the MIT Undersecretariat generally consist of the employees assigned at the main service units, the consultation and inspection units and the auxiliary service units.
Our Organization employs not only Intelligence Officers who form the main cadre, but also those with distinct expertise, such as Engineers, Technical Analysts, Computer Programmers, Human Resources Experts, Interpreters-Translators, Administrative and Financial Experts, Doctors, and Psychologists.
The places where the candidates, who are employed in our Organization, are assigned are determined by lot after their basic training. These assignment places are determined annually by taking into consideration the current needs of our Organization. The assignment places are divided as places within the country and abroad, and we have units in many provinces of Turkey.
The MIT Undersecretariat provides a just and equal career opportunity to all its employees. There are two different career opportunities in the organization, divided as the cadres of expertise and management cadres. In accordance with the provisions of the Regulation which make promotion dependent on objective criteria, our employees can be promoted to management positions and to expert positions with equal employee rights as those at the management positions.
